Formulated for color stability and UV resistance, it is especially suitable for areas which are exposed to the sun and wherever flexibility is important. This marine adhesive is great for cosmetic seals over permanent adhesive material. It becomes tack-free in as little as 22 minutes, and it typically cures in as little as 24 hours. It is also immediately paintable after curing – so you can get right back out on the water. Marine grade sealant applies right from the container with no mixing required, and cures to form a firm, flexible, waterproof seal. Yet its medium-strength adhesive allows you to disassemble boat parts without damaging them after long-term use. It is ideal for use on wood, glass, gelcoat and fiberglass as well as many metals and plastics, and recommended for topside components like hatches, portlights, metal hardware as well as porthole seals. Like our 4200 marine sealant adhesive, it dissipates stress caused by vibration and shock, and won’t crack under dynamic force. It resists salt, wind, weather and temperature extremes just as effectively for years of worry-free enjoyment on the water.
