It can be used as a closure on traditional all service jacket (ASJ) faced duct piping and as a vapor seal on traditional ASJ-faced duct board and pipe insulation. The backing is made with a white kraft, scrim, and foil laminate that is coated with a cold-weather acrylic adhesive, making it easy to mold around irregular and curved surfaces, with excellent performance in a range of temperatures. This UL723 classified tape is easy to install by hand without special tools or application methods. It also maintains its adhesive strength and is puncture, tear, humidity and mold resistant. Facing meets ASTM C1136, type I, II, III and IV. For a durable, easy application that excels in the most demanding conditions, use 3M™ ASJ Facing Tape 2C105.
