Product Information: 3M™ Secure Click™ Hard Case D9000 Series Particulate Filters are approved for use with 3M™ Secure Click™ Respirators in environments containing certain particles.. 3M™ Secure Click™ Particulate Cartridge P95/Hydrogen Fluoride with Nuisance Acid Gas Relief D3076HF has the Secure Click™ connection style. The 3M™ Secure Click™ connection style enables a quick, simple connection of the particulate cartridges. Simply align the connections on the facepiece and particulate cartridge and push until you hear a click. The innovative Secure Click connection helps provide wearers confidence that the particulate cartridges are installed properly. Also, the Secure Click particulate cartridges are dual-flow to allow easier breathing.
3M Secure Click Particulate Cartridge P95/Hydrogen Fluoride with Nuisance Acid Gas Relief D3076HF is made with proprietary Advanced Electrostatic Media (AEM) consisting of highly charged microfibers arranged in an open formation that enhance the capture of airborne particles while allowing for greater passage of air through the media. These particulate cartridges are both flame and water resistant. The D3076HF particulate cartridge may be used in a variety of industries such as aluminum processing, chemicals and oil and gas. Common uses of D3076HF particulate cartridges include hydrogen fluoride and for filtering solids such as those from processing minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, flour, and certain other substances. They may also be used for liquid or oil based particles from sprays that do not also emit harmful vapors and for metal fumes produced from welding, brazing, cutting and other operations involving heating of metals. The D3076HF particulate cartridge is recommended for relief from nuisance levels of acid gases such as sulfur dioxide and/or chlorine. Nuisance level refers to concentrations not exceeding the OSHA permissible exposure limit (PEL) or other applicable government exposure limits, whichever is lower.
The D3076HF is not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH), sandblasting, or in environments that contain asbestos or hazardous levels of gases and vapors (other than hydrogen fluoride). Change your 3M Secure Click Particulate Cartridges P95/Hydrogen Fluoride with Nuisance Acid Gas Relief D3076HF if they become dirty, damaged, or difficult to breathe through. If used in environments containing only oil aerosols, replace the filters after 40 hours of use or 30 days, whichever is first. If used for hydrogen fluoride, replace the D3076HF particulate cartridges in accordance with an established change schedule, or earlier if smell, taste or irritation from contaminants is detected. 3M offers a free online tool to help you select the appropriate respirators, cartridges, and filters for your workplace respiratory hazards and contaminants. 3M™ Select and Service Life Software (www.3M.com/sls) contains more than 700 different chemicals and provides documentation of your choices.
