Product Information: 3M™ Secure Click™ Hard Case D9000 Series Particulate Filters are approved for use with 3M™ Secure Click™ Respirators in environments containing certain particles.. 3M™ Secure Click™ Particulate Filter P100 D3091 has the Secure Click™ connection style. The 3M™ Secure Click™ connection style enables a quick, simple connection of the particulate filters. Simply align the connections on the facepiece and filter and push until you hear a click. The innovative Secure Click connection helps provide wearers confidence that the filters are installed properly. Also, the Secure Click filters are dual-flow to allow easier breathing.
3M Secure Click Particulate Filter P100 D3091 is made with proprietary Advanced Electrostatic Media (AEM) consisting of highly charged microfibers arranged in an open formation that enhance the capture of airborne particles while allowing for greater passage of air through the media. These particulate filters are both flame and water resistant. The D3091 particulate filter may be used in a variety of applications such as grinding, sanding and welding. Common uses of D3091 particulate filters include filtering solids such as those from processing minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, flour, and certain other substances. It may also be used for liquid or oil based particles from sprays that do not also emit harmful vapors and for metal fumes produced from welding, brazing, cutting and other operations involving heating of metals. The D3091 may be used to help reduce exposure to radioactive particulate materials such as uranium and plutonium. It can also be used for asbestos. The D3091 is not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH), sandblasting, or in environments that contain hazardous levels of organic vapors and/or acid gases.
Change your 3M Secure Click Particulate Filters P100 D3091 if they become dirty, damaged, or difficult to breathe through. If used in environments containing only oil aerosols, replace the filters after 40 hours of use or 30 days, whichever is first. 3M offers a free online tool to help you select the appropriate respirators, cartridges, and filters
