The Standard Tip
Ideal for applying sealants, natural polyethylene (PE) is the material of choice for standard 3M™ Mix & Dispense Equipment – Nozzles. PE is chemically resistant and will not affect the material it contacts. Mix & Dispense Nozzles are available in different lengths (2”, 4” and 6”) and orifice sizes (1/8”, 1/16” and 1/32”) to meet the unique needs of the aerospace industry. The 1/4" NPT male threads fit most mixed sealant cartridges.
The Specialty Tips
- Bent nozzles are molded with tip angles from 30°-80° to ensure exacting application of sealants in challenging areas.
- Spreader nozzles are molded with 0.5"-1.75" wide openings to quickly cover seams, splices and other joints.
On a Roll
3M Roll-On Nozzles are made from durable plastic material with a nylon nap designed specifically to apply adhesives and sealants over a larger area. The low-profile nylon nap cleanly spreads an even bead of low viscosity sealant for controlled coverage with minimal excess. Optimized injector holes on the underside of the roller base dispense the sealant at a smooth, consistent rate to aid uniform application. We offer a choice between a 1" or 2" wide roller, depending upon your application requirements. The roller base can be cleaned with solvents and re-used. Replacement rollers are available separately for purchase.
