Product Overview
The Ease of a Disc Roll, The Speed of Stikit™ Attachment
3M™ Stikit™ Gold Film Abrasive Disc Roll 255L is packaged as multiple adhesive-backed discs rolled onto a core. These discs tear off conveniently one at a time for speed and efficiency, and they require no liners which saves material costs. 3M™ Stikit™ discs come ready to use with a pressure sensitive adhesive coating on the backs – simply press the disc onto the backup pad and you’re ready to go. They remove just as cleanly, leaving an uncontaminated surface for the next disc. We recommend using Stikit™ discs with 3M™ Stikit™ Disc Pads. For best results, we recommend use with the 3M™ Stikit™ Disc Roll Dispenser PN 05450.
Sharp Abrasive, Flexible Backing
With its aluminum oxide mineral abrasive, our 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Film Abrasive Disc Roll 255L provides a sharp cut – more aggressive than a comparable closed coat abrasive of the same grade. A range of coarse to medium-fine grits are built on durable film backing that provides uniform mineral orientation for consistent finishes. These discs are ideal for sanding and featheredging filler and putties, and primer sanding. 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Film Abrasive Disc Roll 255L is suitable for multiple substrates including bare metal, e-coat, clear coat, fiberglass, paint, primer and plastic.
Resists Dust and Debris
The anti-loading coating on the abrasive grains also allows the disc to continue cutting when sanding materials that would otherwise clog the disc. All of this adds up to increased productivity and reduced material consumption.
Our 7-hole pattern on select versions of 3M™ Stikit™ Gold Film Abrasive Disc Roll 255L helps clear dust from the surface of the disc, making for longer disc life and a more consistent finish.
