Product Overview
Scotch® Repulpable Forms Splicing Tape 8507 is completely repulpable, which means there’s no need to remove splices from waste, and users can avoid contamination of scrap. This tape has an adhesive that prevents broke contamination from non-repulpable splice material. It meets or exceeds TAPPI UM-213 procedure A and meets specific FDA indirect food additive regulations as described under 21 CFR 176.170 (Components of paper and paperboard in contact with aqueous and fatty food).
Recommended Applications
- Forms-splicing
- Manifold business forms
Application is simple; dispense the tape and apply firm, even rub-down pressure over the taped area to create the best possible adhesion between the tape and the paper surface. A plastic squeegee or similar tool can help achieve the proper uniform pressure.
